Our group interested in understanding how populations and species responded and some time adapted to changes in their environmental or ecological conditions. For that purpose, we are analyzing genome-wide patterns of variation within and between species to address fundamental questions in biology, anthropology, and medicine. Our group work on a variety of organisms ranging from marine mammals, human, and domesticated plants to pathogens and mosquitoes. Our research interest lies at the interface of ecology, evolutionary biology, computational biology, mathematical genetics.
For more example of what we are doing, visit our publication webpage.
We are looking for highly motivated phD candidates with good statistical and genetics background and programming skills who would like to develop a phD on the genomics of marine mammals and mosquitoes
